Uncle Jeff & Aunt Caitlin!

Liz had her baby today!!! She is the MOST beautiful baby I have ever seen! Big pouty lips, long feets and toes! She came barreling into this world at 9 lbs 10 oz, and 20 inches long. She's a chubby, sweet faced angel! Her Mommy is doing great, and everyone in the family is really excited!

I just had to share the good news.

My Masterpiece and Countdowns...

Not much is going on with me right now. Ever since Idol try-outs and the trip to Cape May things seem so... incredibly normal.

I finally finished Jeff's Painting. It's (in my humble opinion) my best work so far. Here's a photo of it. And a few close-ups. It only took me like 4 or 5 months to complete... however, that's working one day a week on it... so I guess I could've probably knocked it out in 2 weeks if I'd actually tried. I'm debating making one of myself as Princess... seems so vain to paint oneself... however, I am what I am. I'm going to attempt to knock out 2 more paintings before October. One for each father. I'm also trying to sell some of my less awesome paintings on Etsy. Hehe.

Also on my mind is the upcoming birth of Adelaide Joy Taylor. She will be Jeff's and my first Neice, and we are SO excited! Elizabeth has been slowly making her way towards having the baby, and I have to say she is a beautiful, glowing pregnant lady right now! I think what I am most excited about, is that I get to finally be a really active Aunt. I wish my sister, April, lived closer so I could be a bigger part in Ian B's life... but I want to make sure I can be there for all the neices and nephews that I eventually have. It's important to me because my Aunts have been so important to me in my own life.

Also coming up in October, my brother will be visiting for a month! Hooray! Jeff and I have already arranged to stay at my parents for a week so Jeff can finally get to know my only and most favoritest brother ever!

So... I may not have much to talk about right this moment, but soon... soon I will irritate you with photos and oohhings and awwwings about my neice and my brother.

Blog Out.

America's NEXT TOP MODEL... er... Idol...

So Wednesday was a very interesting day for me.

My Brother-in-Law, Chris, and I went to the American Idol auditions.

It was the most terrifying day I have had in a long time.

We laughed, we cried, we sang out hearts out.

We got our photo taken and it's located on the Austin-American Statesman website: http://galleries.austin360.com/gallery/austin-american-idol-auditions/105012/

He sang, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and I sang "Criminal" by Fiona Apple.

We both did well... AMAZING actually.

We both got DENIED.

WE both had TON OF FUN!

The best part of the day... after getting rejected we started walking the wrong way to our car... we hear the rumble of thunder, and it starts POURING DOWN RAIN.

We ran for a good half our till we finally found our car and were so soaked, it looked like we'd jumped in a swimming pool and swam to the car.

It was a good experience that has left me feeling a little hollow inside.

Cape May Diamonds

Cape May, New Jersey....
A beautiful place to go on vacation! It has been a family tradition with the Sigerson side of the family ever since I joined it at 5 years old! Look how gorgeous the beach is!

This photo pretty much sums up my week of vacation. I read "'Salem's Lot" by Stephen King, and boogie boarded almost the entire vacation! It was the best vacation I've had in a long time.
I think Jeff liked it a lot too. Sometimes the best vacations are the low-key ones. One of the big things Jeff and I did was go Parasailing. It was not nearly as exciting as I thought it would be, I guess Sky Diving first made this a big step down on the addrenaline scale... and then Jeff got really sick.
But he recovered nicely and we enjoyed ourselves at the beach EVERY day!

One of the cool things about Cape May, is there is some pretty cool history. There was a ship wreck off the coast of the beach. Small peices of that ship have broken off and been tumbled around in the waters off the coast, creating clear pebbles. Those are called Cape May Diamonds. We collected several of those (souvenires for our favorite people), and will polish them and perhaps have a few cut like real diamonds. This is Jeff searching for Cape May Diamonds... we are such treasure hunters!I really LOVE the beach. It's my favorite place in the whole world to be. While at the beach, one day, we got bored-ish. The waves were beating us up really bad, so we took a break and made this huge Mayan temple of sand. I made the stairs, while Jeff and the boys built the altars and what not, and MaKayla shaped the castles on top. The stairs are where the slaves sacrificed heads roll down.. gruesome eh? We also decided to go on a Ghost Tour with my Mom, Aunt Didi, MaKayla and her friend Ashley.

Despite my scared expression it was totally NOT scary, but there were some really gorgeous houses we got to see, so what ever. All-in-All, the month of July/early August was a great one for me! I got to see my Dad, Bev, little sister Bekah (who is getting more and more beautiful by the second), and Meghan. I really enjoyed going to their house and seeing them all. I got to sing with my Dad, while he played guitar, and I got to celebrate my birthday with them. Then I got to go the next weekend with my Mom and family to Cape May! What a wonderful summer this has been for me!
